The Holy Quran : Chapter 107 : Al-Ma'un (Acts of Kindness) 

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

 

 أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ

107:1. See you one who denies the Judgment (to come)?

فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ

107:2. Then such is the (one) who repulses the orphan,

 

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ

107:3. And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.

 

فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ 

107:4. So woe to the worshippers

الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ

107:5. Who are neglectful of their prayers,

 

الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ

107:6. Those who (want but) to be seen,

 

وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ 

107:7. But refuse (to supply) (even) neighborly needs.
