The Holy Quran : Chapter 102 : At-Takathur (The Abundance of Wealth)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

 أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ

102:1. The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things),

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ

102:2. Until you visit the graves.

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

102:3. But nay, you soon shall know (the reality).

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

102:4. Again, you soon shall know!

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ

102:5. Nay, were you to know with certainty of mind, (you would beware!)

لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ

102:6. You shall certainly see Hell-Fire!

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ

102:7. Again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!

ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ

102:8. Then, shall you be questioned that Day about the joy (you indulged in!).
